Quick Scoping Returning In COD: Modern Warfare 3

Modern Warfare 3 Quick Scoping

That's right, at least at this point, MW3 will feature quick scoping. Many of the Call of Duty fans were unhappy with the fact that quick scoping was crippled in Black Ops. Here's what Robert Bowling had to say:Currently, you can still quick scope in Modern Warfare 3. Keep in mind though, multiplayer is always changing at this stage (new perks, new balancing, new everything all the time based on feedback), however our philosophy on that hasn't changed since MW2.Bowling was also happy to share some new MW3 information, here's a quick summary:

  • There will be an internal multiplayer beta test, but no public beta has been decided yet.
  • There are no knife lunge increase perks in the game, like the Commando in Modern Warfare 2.
  • Dedicated servers for PC are a possibility, but nothing has been confirmed.
  • MW3 will have a theatre mode, just like Call of Duty: Black Ops.
  • The One Man Army, Commando, Nukes, Last Stand (Second Chance) have been removed.
  • The "bloody screen" from Modern Warfare 2 has been balanced, meaning less blood and better indicators that where the shots came from.
  • Hardened and Prestige editions will be available soon.
