Activision has announced the all new "Call of Duty Elite" online service that offers new features that can significantly enhance the COD multiplayer experience. As you can guess from the name, this was designed exclusively for the Call of Duty community. Elite allows players of every level to improve their game with an intuitive suite of tools and compete in tournaments for prizes.
Here are the main three features:
Every day over 7 million gamers play Call of Duty online and on average each player logs over one hundred hours of multiplayer each year. Call of Duty Elite is specifically geared towards those COD players that are "looking for more". Some of the Elite features are free of charge, but the rest require premium membership, which obviously costs money.
Call of Duty Elite will launch this fall with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but there will be a public beta this summer with Call of Duty: Black Ops.
